Trades Group specialises in working with insurance companies, local councils and owners’ corporation management companies that require regular renovation, repair and maintenance services for client or community properties, including emergency make-safes and after-hours work.

Trades Group is based in Melbourne and works day-to-day in the metropolitan area and regional Victoria. We also assemble single-trade and multi-trade teams to work anywhere in Australia after a disaster (e.g. floods, hailstorms), which has proven to be a cost-effective strategy for insurers needing to provide timely assistance to their customers.

All Trades Group tradesmen must meet our requirements and standards before being added to our team. We check their qualifications and references and inspect recent examples of their work. They must supply a copy of a certificate of currency for their insurance and a current police check. They must pass our OHS and compliance checklist, which includes having an appropriate health and safety system in their day-to-day work. We have a Code of Conduct that they must agree to uphold.


Trades Group photo ID

The tradesmen who meet our standards are then inducted and issued with their Trades Group photo ID. Trades Group does all the checks required so that the organisations that use our services can be confident of the quality and reliability of our tradesmen and trades teams.

We operate through six integrated divisions: Trades Make Safe, Trades Restoration, Trades Hire, Trades Fabrication, Trades Concreting and Trades Design Build (read more about our divisions).
